Biographie
Nick Knapman is a real estate lawyer in our Bristol office, specialising in real estate dispute resolution and lease advisory work.
Nick joined the firm as a trainee in 1993 and then qualified as a real estate disputes lawyer. He is very experienced in dealing with contentious and strategic property matters and advises primarily on high value asset management issues, with a focus on shopping centres and office buildings.
He has particular expertise in rent reviews, service charge issues, dilapidations claims, the interpretation of leases/development agreements, original tenant/guarantor liability and the effect of the Competition Act 1998 on property contracts.
Nick deals with all forms of dispute resolution including court proceedings, mediation, arbitration and expert determination.
Nick was Location Head of our Bristol office between 2016 and 2020.
