Pilar specialises in litigation and holds a wide range experience assisting Spanish and international insurance and reinsurance companies with energy, construction, machinery breakdown, environmental, defective product and engineering related matters, both, under first and third party liability policies. She is also part of the Cyber Risk team in the Madrid office.

She gives legal advice and acts for national and international insurance companies and their insured, in litigation proceedings in all jurisdictional areas, including advice in mediation proceedings. She also has experience in monitoring cases in many jurisdictions in Latin America.

Pilar is fluent in English and is a regular speaker at seminars to national and international insurance companies on topics including product liability claims, engineering clauses, alternative dispute resolution methods, professional indemnity and the Spanish Insurance Contract Act. She is also a teacher at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) for postgraduate degrees.
