Sophia specialises in various aspects of commercial real estate law, advising both institutional real estate investment clients as well as small and medium enterprises and private individuals. She specialises in institutional and private investment work, development work, landlord and tenant matters, disposals and acquisitions (with or without financing) and corporate support work.

She has over 8 years’ experience advising clients across a range of sectors including the retail, hospitality and industrial sectors, including on mixed use sites.

Sophia’s relevant experience includes:

• Purchase of a £9.5 million mixed use property in London’s West End for a health sector client all within a tight timetable (less than month).
• Acting for an international leisure operator on its initial lettings throughout the UK, and also acted on their corporate acquisitions of a portfolio of properties from private family owned enterprises, other operators in the relevant spaces or banks, all of whom were downsizing.
• Royal London on the contribution of 11 properties into their new £2.7 billion UK property fund – The Royal London UK Real Estate Fund.
