  • Biography

    Charlotte Burnett advises health sector organisations on a wide range of commercial and contracting issues. She specialises in integration within the NHS and between the NHS and independent providers. She is an expert in primary care.

    Charlotte is currently working on integrated care models and contractual structures for NHS organisations, local authorities and the independent sector.  She is advising widely on the Five Year Forward View models and vanguard arrangements. She advises on complex and innovative models, include outcomes based arrangements, prime and alliance contracting and the development of Federations.

    She advises extensively on primary care issues including advising national and local NHS organisations on major national primary care policies, strategy, procurements, commissioning arrangements and disputes.

    Charlotte advised on the establishment of independent hospitals working closely with clients from conception of ideas to delivery. She has subsequently advised clients on independent hospital acquisitions and the provision of services to the NHS.

    Charlotte has recently led external training in the following areas:  

    • the NHS Standard Contract
    • primary care contracting and pharmacy arrangements
    • integration

    • federations/networks
