Helen joined DACB in 2021 and has been a senior associate since 2024. Prior to joining DACB, Helen worked in the higher education sector, specialising in research and innovation contracts.

Helen continues to work with both health and higher education sector clients on a range of research-related contracts, supporting these clients at both a practical, transactional level and with more strategic advice. Her sector experience means she is familiar with the requirements of public, charitable, and commercial funders of research and has a comprehensive understanding of the template agreements used for both clinical and non-clinical research.

Additionally, Helen works with a number of national and regional health clients on a broader range of commercial matters. At a regional level, she advises clients on general commercial contract matters including collaborations to facilitate local co-operation on service delivery. For larger public sector clients, Helen supports national projects including technology systems projects.
