Joanna represents businesses and public sector bodies in relation to their immigration needs. This includes advice on work based visas, sponsor licence compliance, prevention of illegal working, global mobility and remote working and strategic immigration support. She also supports individuals with immigration advice including visa applications, eligibility for indefinite leave to remain and citizenship.

Relevant experience includes:

• Advising a company involved in a share sale on the impact of the transaction on their sponsor licence
• Assisting an overseas company looking to set up an entity in the UK to obtain sponsorship visas to move head count into the UK
• Supporting a company to challenge the issuing of a civil penalty for illegal working
