Crypto Disputes

Our dispute resolution experts have a real understanding of the crypto sector. They understand how, when, and why disputes arise between market counterparties, crypto enterprises and investors, and when criminal and regulatory authorities become interested in the operations of crypto entrepreneurs.

Overview

Our experts draw on decades of experience in handling legal proceedings in the civil and criminal courts in England and Wales, as well as internationally in the offshore jurisdictions in which crypto enterprises are commonly domiciled.

We have the strength in depth to move quickly and institute injunctive proceedings, protect property and assets, freeze the movements of currencies, obtain information vital for pursuing legal redress and, ultimately, to recover assets.

We are particularly adept at protecting the interests of founders and operators of crypto enterprises

Featured experience

    • Evidence as to the authenticity of documents, including the analysis of electronic messaging systems and the extent to which issues of authenticity can be credibly determined (taking into account the development of those messaging systems)
