  • Biography

    Faye originally joined DACB in 2001, qualified at the firm and was head of our national Motor Injury and Claims Handling teams in Claims Ltd until 2021.  She then had a two-year stint at Carpenters Group where she was Head of Defendant Services.  She is now back at Claims Ltd leading various change and transition projects.

    Faye has over 20 years’ experience of Motor, Employer’s Liability and Public Liability claims.  She also works closely with her clients to ensure that they are aware of and are adapting to all the latest tactics to ensure they control claims spend.

    Faye is the Client Account Manager for a number of key clients. She works closely with them and their key stakeholders in developing their strategy on claims handling, litigation and proactive claims management.

    Faye works with the Strategic Advisory Unit and is a regular commentator and panellist on issues impacting the motor insurance market. She regularly leads seminars and webinars for clients, most recently on civil justice reforms and the potential impact on motor insurers. She designed our Motor Way training programme and remains involved in the development programmes for paralegals and apprenticeships following her role in the National Working Group for the first Paralegal Apprenticeships.

    Relevant experience includes:

    • Established knowledge and experience in Motor Fleet TPA market with ability to add value to clients through bespoke advice, wider than just claims handling, to include amongst risk management, trend analysis, portfolio reserve management with actuaries, criminal motor defence & regulatory advice and practical updates on leading issues.
    • She has significant operational experience leading change and transition projects within the business, encompassing operational excellence, the on-boarding of new clients to include legacy binders and managing new business liaising with actuaries, underwriters and C suite executives.
    • Settlement of a Chronic Pain claim following the acceptance of a Part 36 Offer after service of surveillance evidence and an application to pursue a finding of Fundamental Dishonesty.
    • One of the first virtual “lockdown” JSMs, settling a Public Liability claim where liability and quantum were in dispute between the Defendants saving the client in excess of £1 million.
