George specialises in real estate dispute management.

He provides strategic advice to developers, institutional landlords and acts on the full range of contentious landlord and tenant issues, including lease disputes, lease termination, dilapidations, lease renewal and service charge issues. 

George also advises in relation to the management of residential tenancies, securing vacant possession of land (both residential and commercial) and land management issues including disputes involving easements and adverse possession.

He has particular expertise in the health sector and regularly advises Trusts and healthcare providers in relation to estate management issues.

George's relevant experience includes:

• Dealing with all real estate litigation work for a number of shopping centre landlords across their portfolios;
• Acting for a national logistics provider in its defence of a multi-million pound dilapidations claim, culminating in settlement at mediation.
• Advising a shopping centre landlord in relation to litigation to secure possession of a development site pursuant to ground (f) of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.

George is a member of the Property Litigation Association and regularly provides training in relation to contentious real estate issues.
