He has over 13 years’ experience across the full range of construction related activities (from minor domestic projects to large scale infrastructure, public utilities and power works). Relevant experience includes advising:
- Major engineering companies on complex, technical, multi-party and multi-million pound disputes arising from the construction of public utilities, including hospitals, schools, roads, flood defences and the like.
- Main contractors, sub-contractors and project managers on claims arising from cladding and fire safety.
- Specialist suppliers for example on the technical specifications of concrete utilised in wind-farm construction.
- Insurers on the successful declinature of a £6m property damage claim on the basis of the policyholder’s failure to comply with its duty of fair presentation.
