Overview

International law firm DAC Beachcroft has launched its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, which identifies the firm’s ESG commitments as a business, and what its key sectors are doing to support clients on their own ESG journeys.

The strategy, which is hosted on the firm’s new ESG microsite, is the culmination of a project to identify what the firm and its clients want to see action on.

As part of the project, DACB engaged with clients and colleagues to uncover priority themes and with input from a steering committee of senior leaders within the firm and the help of an external consultancy, created a strategy that is focused on a series of commitments around climate change, talent & leadership, wellbeing, and diversity, equity & inclusion.

Virginia Clegg, DAC Beachcroft’s Senior Partner, commented, “The ESG landscape is complex, interconnected and continuing to develop. It is a Boardroom priority, not just for our firm but also for our clients. Our ESG strategy will help us deliver on our purpose and commitments and enable us to continue to help our clients develop their strategies and identify opportunities, risks and responsibilities.”
