Adrian specialises in catastrophic brain, spinal injury and amputations claims. He has over 20 years’ experience advising clients, both insurance and self-insured companies.

Adrian’s experience in handling catastrophic injury claims means that he has a detailed knowledge of periodical payments orders and other technical issues associated with serious injury claims including statutory funding and dealing with complex medical evidence. His key clients include Admiral Insurance, where Adrian is one of six nominated solicitors to deal with claims in excess of £3m.

Relevant experience includes advising:

• Admiral on the successful outcome of a liability dispute which saved them significant legal costs. (Luxton v Raja [2019] EWHC 644 (QB)).
• UPS on the successful defence of a £ multimillion claim involving indemnity and contractual issues and complex quantum evidence. (Gilman v UPS EWHC 2341).
• Admiral on a spinal injury claim from a very early stage then working consensually with the claimant’s solicitor as liability was not in dispute. The claim settled for £8.17 million.

Adrian is recognised by Legal 500 for his expertise in catastrophic brain, spinal injury and amputations claims.
