Alberto is a litigator with more than 15 years of experience. His professional practice has focused on the resolution of disputes in civil and commercial matters, mainly representing national and international financial entities, as well as all types of multinational companies. His experience includes insolvency law, national and international arbitration before ICSID, ICC and CAM, insurance and bonds, telecommunications, judicial recovery, legal consultancy, White Collar proceedings and statutory audits.

Throughout his professional career he has participated in complex judicial proceedings involving cross-border litigation between Mexican, North American, Canadian and Brazilian Courts, as well as the implementation and coordination of multidisciplinary legal actions in the areas of labour, bankruptcy, criminal, mining, and corporate law.

In addition to his professional practice, Alberto has been a Professor of Constitutional relief proceeding (“Amparo”) and Legal History at the Universidad Iberoamericana, the Universidad Panamericana and the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
