  • Biography

    Louise has over 10 years’ experience in representing healthcare professionals in inquests, and during investigations by their professional regulatory bodies. 

    Louise regularly represents healthcare professionals before their professional regulators, including GMC, GDC, HPC, NMC, BACP, UKCP and GOsC in a wide range of cases, including those arising from concerns relating to health, conduct, professional performance and probity. 

    In addition, Louise regularly represents individual doctors and healthcare organisations at inquests, including those of a complex nature and those with a high media profile.  She also regularly assists and supports healthcare organisations in their investigations of serious untoward incidents. 

    Louise also advises on a wide range of medico-legal issues, on a day-to-day basis, including information governance, Judicial Review, capacity, consent, confidentiality and clinical governance.
