Admitted in 1985, Nigel Montgomery acts on behalf of NHS Resolution (formerly the NHS Litigation Authority), NHS Trusts, and the MDU advising on all aspects of risk and claims.

He has 25 years experience of handling clinical negligence claims across all areas including cerebral palsy, oncology, paediatrics and plastic surgery. Advisory work includes strategic analysis and implementation of Trust policies, procedures and training in relation to clinical and health and safety risk.

Nigel is a regular author of articles to health and risk management publications and speaker at conferences on medico-legal issues.

For 20 years Nigel headed DAC Beachcroft's market-leading health sector, which is the largest dedicated health law team in the UK, supporting more than 300 public sector and independent healthcare clients on the full breadth of legal services.
