Ralph is a barrister who specialises in resolving construction and engineering disputes, including disputes under PFI (private finance initiative) contracts.

Ralph was called to the Bar in 1981 and has been specialising in construction and engineering disputes since 1983.

From 2008 to 2012, Ralph worked as a barrister and solicitor at an insurance law firm in Wellington, New Zealand.

In 2018, Ralph completed his training as a Mediator with the London School of Mediation and has since gained experience in community mediations. He has been an associate mediator with the CMC (Civil Mediation Counsel) since 2023.

In his free time, Ralph enjoys fishing, sailing, playing the bassoon and singing in a choir.
