He has over 10 years’ experience advising clients across a range of sectors including manufacturing, logistics and the public sector. Relevant experience includes advising:

    • An offshore Insurer on a claim involving complex jurisdiction issues in an Employers Liability Claim. Will successfully obtained an Order setting aside a previous Order which had permitted service of the proceedings outside of the UK’s jurisdiction. This gave the Claimant no choice but to abandon the claim.
    • A public sector organisation on complex issues of quantum in a catastrophic spinal injury claim, with damages estimated by the Claimant at over £3 million. Damages were successfully negotiated at a JSM at £1 million.
    • A major insurer in the defence of a claim for damages for discrimination on the grounds of disability in a children’s play centre, resulting in a Trial win and costs award in our client’s favour.
Will regularly contributes to articles on important and topical legal issues and works closely with clients to drive innovation and formulate risk prevention strategies.
