Suzanne Wharton, partner and head of DACB’s 70-strong Professional & Commercial Risks North practice, commented, “Jilly has an excellent reputation in the construction insurance market and we’re delighted to welcome her to DACB.
“Her appointment will be a game changer for us, as we continue to implement our ambitious plans to build our contentious construction-related offering in Scotland, as part of our on-going drive to be the global insurance industry’s legal adviser of choice.”
John Maillie, DACB’s Scotland Location Head, added, “We have sought to make DAC Beachcroft the destination of choice for high calibre Scottish lawyers, and Jilly’s appointment underscores that ambition, building on recent high quality arrivals from our competitors. As well as welcoming one of the leading construction lawyers, her appointment will complement our expanding professional indemnity, regulatory and real estate offering still further in Scotland.”
