DACB is the first business to move into the new 14-storey Bank House, which forms part of a more than £100 million regeneration project in Newcastle’s city centre. The design of the new state-of-the-art, Grade A, BREEAM Excellent office mirrors that of DACB’s global headquarters at the Walbrook Building in London, with a combination of workspaces and collaborative areas, as well as versatile meeting spaces, to support clients and colleagues and hybrid ways of working.
Commenting on the move, Nicola Fairbairn, DACB’s Newcastle Location Head, said, “This is a really exciting move for us. Bank House ticks so many boxes – from its environmental credentials and flexible floorplate options, to its prime location and the fantastic views.
“We are thrilled to be the first business to set up in the Pilgrim Street development. We have been closely watching, and involved with, this regeneration scheme, which will transform Newcastle’s city centre, and are looking forward to being a part of it as it continues to take shape.”
DAC Beachcroft has a long-standing presence in North East, having opened its doors in Newcastle in 2008. The firm supports a number of initiatives in the local community through volunteer and pro bono work, including Bridgewater School, People’s Kitchen, Northumbria Health Trust, Gregg’s Breakfast Club, Change Please, and Radical Recruit.
In summer 2023, DACB will support the Shaun the Sheep on the Tyne Art Trail to benefit St. Oswald’s Hospice.
