International law firm DAC Beachcroft is pleased to announce that the firm has maintained its rankings in The Legal 500 Latin America 2021, including a Tier 1 ranking for Insurance in Colombia.
The firm secured rankings in each country where it has an office, including Chile, Colombia and Mexico. In addition to its top-tier ranking in Insurance, the DACB team in Colombia has also been recognised in the area of Dispute Resolution, and the firm’s lawyers in Chile and Mexico have been ranked in Tier 2 for Insurance.
Five individuals have been recognised for their stand-out advice, including ‘Leading Individuals’ Andrés Amunátegui (Chile – Insurance) and Camila de la Torre (Colombia – Insurance), ‘Next Generation Partners’ Salvador Enrique Urbano (Mexico – Insurance) and Juan Diego Arango (Colombia – Insurance), and ‘Rising Star’ Nicolas Le Blanc (Chile – Insurance).
In the feedback given to The Legal 500, clients commented on DAC Beachcroft’s “extensive knowledge” and “experience”, and the directory acknowledged that when it comes to insurance work DACB’s Latin American team has a “particular strength in advising on complex and high-value claims”, “providing an extensive service to insurers and reinsurers alike”.
Just last month DAC Beachcroft retained its Band 1 ranking in Insurance across Latin America in the 2021 Chambers Guide to Latin America.
DAC Beachcroft’s associated offices in Brazil and Argentina were also ranked in Insurance category of The Legal 500 Latin America 2021. Brazilian firm Demarest Advogados and Argentine firm Allende & Brea each made an appearance at the top of the tables in their respective countries.
