    Alan is a partner advising on commercial, technology & data matters and transactions. He leads teams advising a number of the firm’s blue chip clients on these issues.

    He has led major projects for clients across the firm’s sectors & markets of focus, including insurance, financial services, healthcare, central & local government, utilities & infrastructure, technology & telecoms, support services and professional services.

    Recent experience includes advising:

    • Major UK retail savings and mortgages brand on its IT transformation programme.
    • One of UK’s largest private healthcare providers on its data protection compliance programme.
    • On the commercialisation of the UK’s address database.
    • On gigabit-speed fibre network rollout in Northern Ireland, sponsored by a local authority consortium.
    • A leading specialist insurer operating globally on its digital transformation including implementation of an integrated, end-to-end insurance operations and process management solution, associated application development and professional services partnerships.

    Alan has been recognised by the major directories for “a very flexible approach to leading transactions” and “is particularly good at understanding what the client’s issue is, putting himself in our shoes and making sure we are protected in the right way”.
