Biography
Claire specialises in advising insurers in all types of claims where fraud is suspected. As a qualified solicitor advocate she has a right of audience in all civil courts in Scotland as well as the Supreme Court in London.
She has over 20 years’ litigation experience advising clients across a range of sectors. In her early career she had a varied practice including medical negligence, personal injury, heritable actions and rural property disputes. She specialised in insurance work from 2008 and in counter fraud since 2014.
Claire deals with all types of fraud from low speed road traffic accidents to staged accidents and organised fraud. She also deals with employers’ liability and public liability claims .
