About Jennie

Bio
  • Biography

Jenny Brown specialises in complex injury claims with a bias towards claims involving chronic pain, psychiatric injury and fundamental dishonesty.

She has almost 30 years’ experience advising insurance clients across a range of complex personal injury claims, but for the past 10 years has specialised in handling cases of chronic pain.

    Relevant experience includes advising:

    • On complex causation issues arising from a multi-party lifting at work accident where she acted for the employer. The Claimant developed cauda equina and subsequent negligent medical treatment then rendered the Claimant paraplegic.
    • On a claim where the Claimant exaggerated the accident circumstances, his injuries and provided fraudulent care invoices resulting in the trial judge finding the Claimant to have been fundamentally dishonest on three counts.
    • On a claim where the Claimant sustained significant leg fractures in a road traffic accident and went on to develop chronic pain; however, substantial investigation revealed the Claimant to have exaggerated her ongoing disabilities and the claim was struck out saving insurers almost £1million.
