Nick specialises in resolving disputes, principally in the construction and engineering sector.

He has 10 years’ experience working for London market insurers and their insureds, defending claims against architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, project managers and D&B contractors. He is also regularly instructed to provide policy coverage advice to insurers on high value matters across a diverse range of issues.

In addition to his work for insurers, Nick also has worked closely with in-house legal teams in the construction industry advising on risk management and helping resolve problems and disputes.

He has handled disputes ranging from the very small to multi-million pound in value through to trial and the Court of Appeal, as well as via adjudication, arbitration and mediation.

Nick also has extensive historic experience of defending financial services claims and complaints, in High Court litigation, before the Financial Ombudsman Service and regulatory investigations instituted by the FCA.
