International law firm DAC Beachcroft is pleased to be celebrating the ten-year anniversary of its office in Dublin during 2019.  In June, the firm will mark the milestone with a celebration event for clients and colleagues at The Royal Hibernian Academy.

When it opened in 2009, DAC Beachcroft’s Dublin office had just one lawyer.  Since then, it has grown to an office of over 60 colleagues, with eight partners and a further 30 lawyers.

The team in Dublin specialises in insurance (professional indemnity, defendant personal injury and health), commercial litigation, regulatory, and employment work.  It has seen growth in its data protection and cyber practices by leveraging the firm’s experience and relationships across other jurisdictions and is about to expand its offering to include Commercial and Competition Law capabilities.

“We are really proud of what we have achieved over the past decade,” said Lisa Broderick, partner and location head.  “We have a really talented and dedicated team and ambitious, market-leading and blue-chip clients.

“Our expansion into new practice areas and our forthcoming office move provide a fantastic platform for the next decade and we look forward to the opportunities and experiences that are before us as we continue to deliver a different, strategic perspective to our clients.”

Beyond Dublin, DAC Beachcroft opened an office in Paris earlier this year.  It also announced plans to launch an office in Belfast, which is set to open in July 2019.  In addition, the firm recently moved into new global headquarters in the City of London and completed a rebrand, which saw it adopt fresh messaging that better articulates the client and colleague experience as well as a bold new visual identity.

“As a firm, we aim to provide bespoke solutions for our clients, no matter where they are,” continued Broderick.  “We are always focused on how we can best add value for them.  Being a truly international firm sets us apart from our competitors and enables us to deliver a fully integrated, seamless service for our clients – wherever they may need us.

“We are looking forward to our next ten years in Dublin – and then some.”
