He has over 19 years’ experience advising clients on insurance and reinsurance coverage disputes across a variety of lines of business including property and business interruption, financial lines, civil liability, and employers’ liability. Over the last few years, his practice has included UK property claims, including business interruption claims arising from the COVID-19 pandemic. He has also been involved in matters ranging from the reinsurance test case for allocation of mesothelioma (asbestos) claims which went to the doors of the Supreme Court to acting for a large market of insurers in various significant financial lines losses. 

Jon’s clients are primarily based in the London insurance market (both companies and syndicates) and he has particular experience and understanding of Lloyd’s syndicates, the run-off market, and issues relating to Binding Authority Agreements/MGA. Jon is also currently involved in a number of extensive policy wording review exercises.
