Sinéad is an associate in our real estate team and has extensive experience in commercial and residential real estate practice including the development, acquisition, disposal, and leasing of various types of properties.

Sinéad advises on all types of commercial property transactions. She has extensive experience in the acquisition and disposal of real estate assets, commercial leasing, and property elements of corporate transactions.

Sinéad currently represents developers, corporates, private individuals, and investors on all aspects of a property transaction including site development for residential use and the onward sale of social housing schemes. She also advised landlords and tenants on the leasing of various types of retail, office, and industrial space, including ongoing property management. She also regularly assists and works collaboratively with the regulatory, corporate and litigation teams on property related issues including carrying out extensive due diligence.

Sinéad has previously acted for a wide range of large financial institutions, NAMA, private equity funds, and their appointed receivers in connection with the property / security aspects of their distressed asset due diligence and enforcement. She also has vast experience in the disposal of large property portfolios, remediation projects, and insolvency-related property matters.

• Advising a large Irish property developer on the acquisition of a development site for the construction of a nursing home, which was part of a significant share purchase acquisition and restructuring project
• Advising a leading British multinational beauty retailer company on all aspects of taking a new lease of a high end retail unit in Ireland, which also involved the negotiation of an agreement for lease
• Advising an Irish construction client in respect of a renewable energy lease for the installation of a solar power farm
• Advising a vaiety of Irish corporate clients in respect of ongoing asset/propety management, including the negotiation of lease variations, side letters, and advising on the exercise of break options and surrenders
