Our expertise in the travel and tourism field is broad. We act for overseas motor liability insurers, their agents and their policyholders, and we act for UK motor insurers, insuring liability overseas. Additionally, we represent overseas hotels and their insurers, English tour operators in package travel claims and English airlines in both convention and employers' liability claims. We also advise UK travel insurers in respect of public liability claims, coverage and policy disputes.
Our travel and tourism team are experts in matters of private international law and routinely advise our clients on issues of jurisdiction and applicable law, identifying opportunity for challenge at the outset of our instruction and having been involved in some of the leading cases with a proven track record of success.
We also have an excellent reputation for recovery work, having recovered substantial sums for our insurer clients where outlay has been incurred as a result of cross-border incidents.
