Beth joins DACB from Mayer Brown where she was a Counsel in the firm’s London’s Employment and Benefits – Pension group and advised clients on all aspects of pension law, including on the insolvency, risk transfer and governance aspects of pensions.
Alex Lock, Partner and Head of DACB’s Employment, Pensions & Immigration Group, comments, “I am delighted to welcome Beth as we continue to strengthen the offering of our EPI team to cover the full spectrum of our client’s needs. We see pensions as a major area of strategic growth for our team, and Beth is joining us at a time when there have been extensive number of legislative changes in the pensions market.”
Beth adds, “The pensions framework is becoming increasingly demanding, not least due to the growing number of complex obligations placed on trustees and employers in respect of UK pensions schemes. The long-term impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is also causing uncertainty within the pensions industry. I am delighted to join the DACB team and I look forward to supporting clients in navigating the ever-changing landscape.”
DACB’s EPI group is recognised as one of the top five employment practices in the UK, combining the highest quality of technical advice, a deep investment in personal relationships and an effective use of technology to provide clients with solutions that balance their legal and commercial requirements, and offer real value.
