Overview

International law firm DAC Beachcroft has been named Commercial Property Team of the Year at the Yorkshire Legal Awards 2024.

Members of the regional legal community gathered in Leeds last night for the awards – now in their 25th year – which recognise and celebrate the many achievements of law firms, in-house teams and individual practitioners.

The awards are judged by an independent panel made up of experts from across the Yorkshire legal community.

DACB's Leeds-based Real Estate team acts for a range of clients, including major telecommunications providers, NHS Trusts and some of the region's largest hospitals. Residential property experts are also part of the firm's wider national team which advises many of the UK's leading housebuilders and specialist regional providers.

Partner Clare Hartley, who leads DACB's national Property Litigation team, said, "To be named Commercial Property Team of the Year at this year's Yorkshire Legal Awards is very pleasing, as is the praise we received from the judges for our innovative use of technology to drive client impact and providing our clients with consistently high levels of support.

"Our lawyers continue to offer clients first-class legal advice and deep insight into fast-changing areas of property law, and I am delighted that their knowledge and expertise has been recognised in this way."

DACB has one of the largest real estate legal teams in the country, with more than 170 specialist lawyers advising clients from the public and independent sector on a range of matters, including investment and development, asset management, residential development plots, construction engineering, planning environment, litigation and portfolio management.
