The facts
For dependent children under 18, the IHS will be £776 (currently £470) per year. The IHS is not payable for workers who are sponsored as Health and Care Workers. For a family of 4 who are not sponsored as Health and Care Workers, the IHS for a 3-year visa will be £10,866, plus the visa fees and other associated costs.
What does this mean for employers?
This is a significant increase and employers are advised to submit any applications before 16 January 2024 where possible.
