Biografía
Heather has over 10 years’ experience of working with corporate entities and individuals to advise and represent them in respect of a range of Regulatory matters and investigations undertaken by the Police, Health and Safety Executive, Care Quality Commission, Ofsted and Local Authority. This includes responding to requests to attend a PACE interview, appeals of Enforcement Notices and responding to Notifications of Contraventions, receipt of a summons and proceedings within the Magistrates and Crown Courts.
Heather has a proven experience of working with the construction, manufacturing and hospitality sectors on investigations arising from workplace incidents and reportable occurrences. Heather has also represented clients in the hospitality industry for a range of food and product related matters.
In addition to this, Heather has worked with many healthcare clients, including care home groups, advising and representing individuals and organisations facing investigation by the Care Quality Commission.
As part of her practise, Heather has delivered training to insurer clients and corporate entities on accident and incident response and investigation, sentencing guidelines, inquests and discrete health and safety topics for example duties under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.
Heather is known for being an experienced and competent Solicitor and providing an empathetic and client focused approach to her practice.
