- Advising a tower of London Market Insurers regarding policy response following the collapse of a £100m Guernsey Trust Fund. This claim involved working with various stakeholders in multiple jurisdictions to resolve the matter by way of mediation in Jersey.
- Acting as monitoring counsel for Excess Layer Insurers in respect of a Cayman Islands arbitration concerning alleged negligence by a firm of offshore accountants.
- Advising a global programme of insurers regarding policy response following the collapse of a Gibraltar based financial institution.
- Providing coverage advice in respect of a Guernsey Financial Services Commission investigation into a director who had been heavily involved in a network of offshore companies with links to the Syrian and Azerbaijani ruling families. We engaged with various global law enforcement agencies to provide advice to insurers regarding policy avoidance.
- Representing Insurers in a Class Action claim against an offshore Corporate Service Provider who acted as a Note Trustee in what transpired to be a fraudulent Ponzi Scheme.
- Advising insurers on coverage and thereafter monitoring a claim in Cyprus following the collapse of a large financial institution.
- Assisting a tower of London Market Insurers following a large multi-year fraud committed by a solicitor in the Isle of Man.
