The 30 strong team is based in Birmingham however we work with every one of our UK offices and have also worked with some of our international offices. Our comprehensive intelligence fraud database is at the heart of our drive to combat insurance fraud. The size and scale of our Counter Fraud service means that we have depth and quality in our data to provide you with the latest insight into fraud trends and specific intelligence in relation to your fraud files.

The Intelligence Team have won a number of awards for innovation and technology; out fraud identification tools are used across the industry to support clients in identifying fraud at the front end of their business. In 2015 we also won the Insurance Post Fraud Awards – Investigation Team of the Year for our skills in delivering cutting edge telephone, CCTV and incident analysis resulting in criminal convictions for those involved in an organised bus crash.
We have delivered specialist Intelligence Training to law enforcement and the insurance industry and provided intelligence consultancy services to a number of clients who have subsequently implemented new structures and procedures to maximise their intelligence functions.

How can we help you?

The Intelligence Team provide bespoke desktop investigations on both pre-litigated and litigated cases. We can also provide ‘intelligence only’ research or analysis on cases that have not yet litigated or been referred to DAC Beachcroft.

Our clients frequently ask us to undertake bespoke pieces of technical analysis to analyse CCTV, Telephone data or other data source and produce storyboards, timelines or similar products that the team are trained to deliver. These are frequently used in civil or criminal trials and all our team are trained to provide comprehensive witness statements and give evidence in court.

As an affiliate member of the IFB we have access to intelligence from across the industry. Our Intelligence Forums, Intelligence Sharing calls, Shadowing Days, Intelligence Portal and Dataflag, our datawashing service, provide access points for clients to enhance their fraud identification processes.
