Walter’s practice is focused on insurance coverage and litigation, as well as general defense litigation.  He has spent the last six years representing US and international insurers in complex insurance disputes in both state and federal courts across the US.  Walter recently built on his understanding of the London insurance market having been seconded to a syndicate management company in the Lloyds market in 2024.

Earlier in his career, Walter honed his skills as a litigator at a firm in New Jersey and then at a litigation firm in New York.  He successfully argued appeals in both the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Divisions, First and Second Department, Orders to Show Cause in emergent matters, and motions in both state and federal courts.  He has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in Insurance Coverage issues from 2018-2024.  Through strategic litigation and negotiation, he has achieved favorable outcomes for numerous clients.

Walter earned his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law, where he was a member of the Rutgers Business Law Review.  He holds a B.A. in International Business and Marketing and continues to hold an active real estate license in New Jersey.
