International law firm DAC Beachcroft is pleased to announce the appointment of leading domestic litigation lawyer Alexandre Gadot as a partner in Paris.
Alexandre joins DACB from Parisian insurance firm Delrue Boyer Gadot where he has been a partner since 2012. He has more than 16 years’ experience in industrial risks, construction, product liability and insurance.
DACB opened its office in Paris in January 2019, focusing on the global and domestic insurance and industrial risks sector and led by partners Vladimir Rostan d'Ancezune and Christophe Wucher-North. Alexandre’s appointment builds upon the office’s strong organic growth over the past three years and reinforces the team’s already extensive litigation capabilities.
Vladimir Rostan d'Ancezune, Office Head of DAC Beachcroft France, comments, “The appointment of Alexandre, a major player in the sector, is integral to the continued growth of our practice in France. His expertise will further diversify our offering for our clients and support the continued development of our team.
“This hire is another pivotal step in our firm’s ambitious plans to grow our existing global footprint and the realisation of our vision to be the international insurance law firm of choice for the global insurance industry. One way we are achieving this is through strategic investment in talent across our international jurisdictions to meet the ever-changing needs of both our domestic and international clients.”
Alexandre added, “DAC Beachcroft’s reputation and activity in France has grown considerably in a short space of time. I’m delighted to be joining the team, some of whom I have known for a long time, and I look forward to helping to expand the breadth of expertise that we can provide to our clients.”
This latest appointment follows the announcement in October 2021 that leading insurance litigator, Sherry Goodman-Smith, a specialist in complex insurance and reinsurance policy coverage disputes, joined DACB’s Global Insurance practice as a partner, based in London. In April 2021 the firm also announced that one of Spain’s top D&O specialists, Pablo Guillén, a dominant player in the Spanish and international insurance market, had returned to DACB Madrid following eight years with Clyde & Co.
Today DACB supports clients through three offices in Europe beyond the UK; an office in Singapore; three LatAm offices covering both Central and South America; a representative office in Miami; key partnerships with Legalign alliance firms in Australia, New Zealand, Germany, the US and Canada; and a strong network of associations, best friends and collaborations stretching to the far corners of the globe.
