Overview

International law firm DAC Beachcroft has reappointed partner Vladimir Rostan d’Ancezune to serve a second three-year term as the Location Head of its Paris office, effective from 1 February 2023.

Vladimir advises a range of insurance companies and large insureds on matters such as policy coverage, litigation, tour operators’ liability, energy and insurance intermediation.  He also has significant expertise in international and cross-border issues, particularly global international insurance programmes and litigation in Anglo-Saxon and Latin American jurisdictions.

DACB’s Paris office on Avenue Kléber is the home office for 27 colleagues and was established in 2019 following the firm’s launch in France.  The Parisian team specialises in the global and domestic insurance and industrial risks sectors.

Commenting on his role, Vladimir said, ‘‘Since our launch in Paris four years ago, we have grown significantly – tripling our headcount, adding a new partner, Alexandre Gadot, and delivering on our ambitious plans to be the insurance law firm of choice for the global insurance industry.  I am very pleased to be undertaking another term as Location Head, and I am confident we will build further on our achievements and continue adding to our exceptional client base.’’

Virginia Clegg, DAC Beachcroft’s Senior Partner, added, “Vladimir’s leadership has been instrumental in the successful launch and subsequent expansion of our Paris office since 2019.  In a short space of time the office has established itself as a leading provider of insurance legal advice in France and internationally.  I look forward to working again with Vladimir during his second term and seeing how he will continue to build on the strong foundation he’s created.’’
