Overview

The Dublin partners of international law firm DAC Beachcroft have elected Ronan McLoughlin as the new Location Head for its Republic of Ireland office. He will take over from Lisa Broderick and serve a three-year term effective from 1 May 2024.

Ronan, who joined DACB in 2020, is an experienced Real Estate partner who advises domestic and international clients on both commercial and residential property matters. In his new role he will oversee the continued growth of DACB's brand profile in Dublin, as well as firmwide and local initiatives that support colleague engagement and wellbeing, corporate responsibility and community liaison.

Lisa, a Commercial Litigation partner who has been at the firm since 2010, steps down following two consecutive three-year terms as DACB's Dublin Location Head. She will continue in her role as DACB Dublin's Practice Head, working closely with Ronan in the ongoing success of the business.

Commenting on his appointment, Ronan said, "Lisa has created a truly special place to work. What makes our Dublin office thrive is the sense of belonging and community amongst our team of talented colleagues, which is bolstered by a commitment to quality of service for our exceptional client base. I am honoured to build further on the excellent work that has already been achieved."

Lisa commented, "I want to offer my sincere congratulations to Ronan on his appointment. We have worked closely together for a number of years and I know he will do a brilliant job in leading the team."

DACB Dublin has undergone a period of significant growth in recent years. It has become one of the Republic of Ireland’s 20 largest legal offices, and DACB's biggest office outside of the UK. The office is now home to 11 partners leading a team of over 90 lawyers and professional support staff, providing clients with a full-service offering.
